  • In a globalized economy, a region represents a critical mass for presenting a model of innovation at all levels and domains including health, education, energy, transport, green technology, and services.  The resilience and sustainability of the federal system in the US and the EU (which was initiated as a community of coal and steel) was founded on the ethos of common destiny and future for prosperity, economic integration and peace.

  • The UAE has improved its standing in the 2017 Global Innovation Index, topping all Arab countries and ranking 35th globally to cement its status as one of the world’s most innovative countries.

  • This has become an important parameter of success since many companies have started factoring it into their Balanced Scorecards to assess it. For a startup it is usually a benchmark of external growth and internal empowerment. They use it to define the direction of their business and if their internal work culture is empowering enough for employees to innovate or think of growth ideas. So for most startups, scaling up to the next phase of growth is clearly linked to Innovation in practices, ideas, products, technology and people!

  • One of the virtues which are highly regarded in the startup ecosystem is innovation and creativity. Everyone looks up to original thinkers and we want our students to come up with brilliant new ideas so that they can translate them into successful businesses.

Even our PM exhorts our youth to “think out of the box.” Yes, this is a cool aspiration, which is why Steve Jobs is an icon who continues to inspire the next generation. These are the success stories which we talk about in our classrooms and this is why books which teach you how to be more creative sell like hot cakes on Amazon.
