Biography

Dezso Molnar is a true Renaissance man. At 19 he helped build the first privately funded rocket ship for Truax Engineering, one the first companies in private space travel. The X1 rocket was designed for suborbital flight using engines from surplus Atlas missiles. Dezso is a former crew chief for “The Spirit of America” land speed racing team, helped write the rules for the X-Prize and was on its first panel of judges.

For the last twenty years Dezso has been building flying cars, his latest model is the G2 Gyrocycle. Currently he is focused on forming the “Flying Car Racing League” to launch in 2021, building the "Streetwing", an electric flying race car, and preparing for a flying car expedition from Alaska to Argentina.

In the arts field he invented the Mixman DM2 music device (Atari and Mattel), designed the audio program for “Blastoff” and recorded music for video games including the first Spiderman. After appearing on Discovery’s “Big Brain Theory”, Dezso was a staff inventor at WET Design (creator of the Dubai Fountain).
