Joakim Leijon launched the social intelligence company WhisPR in New York in 2009. He has since expanded exponentially with offices in Dumbo, Brooklyn, Oslo and Stockholm. Whispr now has more than 100 clients including global brands Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Mercedes, IKEA, and Disney, as well as NGOs and state agencies. Spotify was an early client where their Global Marketing Director Sophia Bendz initiated a close collaboration with Whispr. Sophia joined the company as an investor in 2018.
