Katie is a seasoned marketer with over two decades of experience in senior marketing, communications and commercial roles, including 13 years in the MENA region. A commercially minded strategic thinker, Katie’s passion for creativity and focus on performance have enabled her to lead high-impact integrated marketing campaigns for some of the world’s most respected brands. She has a strong team ethic, champions a digital first approach and marketing integration, and has extensive expertise across all media channels.
Katie joined Sky News Arabia at the beginning of 2019 to lead the Pan Arab news organization’s marketing and communications efforts. She has put digital data and results metrics at the heart of the business, creating an analytical dashboard to generate insights and drive Sky News Arabia’s digital-first strategy forward. Katie also leads and overseas various communications disciplines within the organization including crisis communications, internal and external engagement as well as CSR among others.
Prior to joining Sky News Arabia, Katie held a number of marketing related roles at leading UAE organizations and brands including twofour54 and Quest Arabia and has launched some of the most popular brands in the UAE including Abu Dhabi Art, Saadiyat Island and InvestAD. In the UK, Katie also led award winning digital marketing campaigns for Lloyds TSB and British Airways.
Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and media from Leeds University.
