Tristan has over 15 years’ experience in design and construction of Distributed Energy System (DES) projects, throughout the Americas and Europe. He is an expert in DES planning and implementation, with specialization in microgrids and other hybrid energy systems, focusing on front-end conceptual design and business model innovation. His experience includes program management and project management of grid modernization initiatives, energy system modelling, and feasibility analysis for DES using multi-criteria models accounting for social and environmental impacts in addition to increased reliability and avoided costs. Tristan has served as strategist for Fortune 100 companies, utilities, and municipalities. He currently leads the Smart & Distributed Energy team of Worley (formerly WorleyParsons Group), focusing on the use of advanced software for designing least-cost, best-fit onsite energy systems. Tristan holds a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
